Climate strike – King-Vaughan Greens invite you to join us and others on the GO Train. Join thousands at the Ont. Legislature as we and the world call attention to the need for BOLD CLIMATE ACTION NOW.

We will meet at 10 AM and then walk to the King GO station to get on the train which leaves King at 10:52 AM and arrives at Union Station at 11:33 AM. Others may get on the same train at different GO Train platforms (this train starts at Aurora, leaving there at 10:40, leaves Maple GO at 11:00 AM and Rutherford at 11:04 AM) MEET up on the train. “Greens on the GO” TShirts for sale for $12.00 (limited number)…Wear Green, take a banner, sign, placard and be prepared !( take water, backpack, snacks, layers, hat, sun stuff, raincoat, whatever you feel you may need. )

We will get off at Union Station, as a group go on the TTC ($1 dollar more if used GO with Presto), and arrive at Queen’s Park subway station, then join the protest and march from the Ontario Legislature. It will be fun and rewarding. (exact return time unknown, but plan about 2-3 hours for the protest) Please let us know if you will be joining us and where so that we will look for you!
